Do Liberals Like The Idea Of the Government Collecting Every Public Tweet?

Liberals love the idea of the Federal government controlling everything and collecting data on American citizens, so I expect liberals like the idea of the government keeping every single public tweet from 2006. Can liberals explain all the advantages of the Federal government collecting Tweets?

It’s the Library of Congress, and they’re keeping them for posterity. I’m a little embarrassed for my generation that this is how we communicate; but as far as historical records go, that’s an appropriate function for the Library of Congress to perform.
