I just got the Blackberry 8520 and the email setup isnt working.?

The this is that when I bought the phone, the AT&T salesperson set up my email. Also, i downloaded the facebook and twitter app isnt working either, it says that they cannot connect becaouse data service is not available.

It sounds like there is a problem with your account set up. Call AT&T at 1-800-331-0500 and call from a different phone in order for them to troubleshoot your issue

How do you tweet without giving out the information of what application did you use?

Like for example, when you Tweet, additional information will appear: "3 minutes ago via Echofon". How do I make that "via Echofon" disappear?

There isn’t a way to make that little line of text go away. It is built into Twitter’s structure. The only way you could edit it any would be to have your own application that interfaced with Twitter’s API and then it would say "via API" as the source.

Any way to pull up Twitter followers so you don’t have to remember the person’s username every tweet?

Just wondering if there was a way on Twitter that you could pull up a list of your followers when tweeting and add the person from the list (much like tagging someone on facebook, where it comes up with all of the possible profiles)?

It’s a pain to have to try and remember everyone’s username when I want to Tweet.

creating a list would make it easier, liek the other person said.

or when the person is talking to u on the main timeline, just hit the reply button underneath their saying on the bottom right-under the fave star.

i think best thing is to make a list of the ppl who u actually talk to..

like i only talk to 5 ppl, mostly 3 b/c theyre my actual friends i know , so i never had to make a list

Try saying something cute and that will stand out like:

"If you follow me I’ll buy every copy of my world 2.0 in the tri-state area"
"If you love me you’d follow <3"
"If you want a waffle you have to follow mefirst! ##<(’.'<)"
"following me would result in one less lonely girl! "

If none of these work, you could always try something insaine like saying:

"Justin! I love you! If you don’t follow me I am going to kill myself! I will serriously slit my wrists if you don’t follow me in the next 12 hours. If you care about your fans you will follow me to save my life."

That might be a bit much though…
